Compassionate Care & Crisis Intervention Suicide Prevention Services

If you're struggling with suicidal thoughts, or you're worried about someone who is, you don't have to figure out what to do alone. Our team offers immediate, judgment-free support alongside longer-term therapy, whichever stage you're at. The goal in every conversation is the same: help someone feel safe enough to talk openly, and connect them with the support that fits their situation.

Our mental health professionals are trained specifically in crisis response and suicide risk assessment, using approaches grounded in clinical evidence rather than guesswork, so that care is both compassionate and genuinely effective.

Crisis Intervention Immediate Support in Times of Need

When someone is in acute distress, the first priority is stabilization, making sure they're safe right now, before anything else. Our team is trained to stay calm and non-judgmental in these moments, and to guide the conversation toward safety without minimizing what the person is feeling. Support includes:

  • A 24/7 crisis line for urgent support
  • In-person crisis counseling
  • Suicide risk assessment by trained clinicians
  • Immediate emotional support during a crisis
  • Connection to further care and resources afterward

Therapy & Long-Term Support

Getting through an acute crisis is one step, staying well afterward is another. Our therapy services focus on that second part: understanding what leads to a crisis for a given person, and building tools that actually hold up over time. This includes:

  • Individual counseling
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Group therapy sessions
  • Family support and counseling
  • Ongoing follow-up to monitor progress and adjust care as needed

Warning Signs to Watch For

  • Talking about wanting to die, or feeling like a burden to others
  • Expressing hopelessness or feeling trapped
  • Increased use of alcohol or drugs
  • Withdrawing from friends, family, and usual activities
  • Sudden calm after a period of depression, or giving away possessions
  • Extreme mood swings or noticeable changes in behavior

If you notice several of these signs in someone you care about, it's worth taking seriously and reaching out, directly and gently. Asking someone if they're thinking about suicide does not plant the idea or make things worse; it opens the door for them to get help.

If you or someone you know needs support right now, call the KIRAN helpline at 1800-599-0019, available toll-free, 24 hours a day, or contact us directly.

Our Suicide Prevention Team

Our team includes mental health professionals, counselors, and support staff who specialize in crisis care. We treat every person's situation as its own, because what leads someone to this point, and what helps them move forward, is rarely the same from one person to the next.

We stay involved for as long as it's needed, through the crisis and into the ongoing work of building a more stable, hopeful footing.
